Mandoo Seales

President & Co- Founder

Mandoo is passionate about the environment. As a recipient of several prestigious awards including the Pearl Independence award from the National celebrations committee for his contributions to the tourism sector, two from the grand Board of Tourism, and an award from the Grand Bureau of Standards & Willie Redhead foundation for his dedication to environmental protection issues. He encourages everyone to keep our homeland pure and green.

Ian Blaikie

Secretary & Co- Founder

As a (German language) tour guide with Sunsation Tours & member of the Grenada Hash House Harriers, Ian has first hand seen the effects of litter on the environment. “This is an island of world-class beauty, and deserves some respect.  Litter repels tourists and attracts rats and mosquitoes, thus damaging our wealth and our health. “ He passionately believes there are strides that need to be made in order to achieve the ‘Pure Grenada’ image.

Kenia Charles

Vice President

Originally from St. Vincent, Kenia has volunteered in the NGO sector for over 13 years as Development Instructor, Administrator and Trainer. She has special interest in the environment, customer service and health and is a member of various NGO’s. She joined G3 to work with NGO’s, community based orgs, and governmental agencies in order to tackle issues with litter on a larger scale. he is currently pursuing studies in Sustainable Community Development Practices for Civil Society Organisations to improve her skills.

Tricia Simon 

As the principal attorney-at-law at Tricia Simon Law Office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Simon & Associates in the State of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique; Tricia provides egal advice to G3 in regards to legislation and policy direction for the environment to keep Grenada, “pure, clean and green”. She is the author of the “Lizzie” column, as well as composes articles in the Now Grenada highlighting the importance of the work of Grenada Green Group (G3) .

Maria Davis

Member

Maria Davies has made her beloved Grenada her home since 2013, after retiring from a busy real estate  practice in Chicago.

​

Her interest in environmental issues dates back many years. She was one of the founding members of the 49th Ward Green Group, an organization started by her alderman & a few other interested residents of her neighborhood in Chicago. The group did public education, as well as community gardens, beach protection, work on banning harmful pesticides, among other activities.

​

In Grenada, Maria is an avid gardener, an inveterate explorer of  what she calls her personal paradise. She is a member of the Willie Redhead Foundation as well as the Grenada Green Group.

​

She’s also working on an oral history of Grenada, produces a bi-monthly newsletter & keeps in regular touch with her large family scattered over several countries.
